Optical glass filters are used in many different applications in science and industry. They can be used as broadband, bandpass, or long-wave pass filters
Alpha Optics offers a wide selection of glass filters. They are made from finest quality optical glass from suppliers like Schott and Hoya, covering the UV, visible, and near-infrared wavelength regions. These optical filters are precision polished for demanding research or OEM applications. They are widely used for order sorting, light attenuation, and spectral selection of a broadband source, and they are significantly less expensive than multi-layer coated filters which have sharper cut-on and cut-off wavelengths and better rejection.
