Advantages of fused silica windows include: good transmission, low thermal expansion, stability and resistance to thermal shock over large temperature excursions, wider thermal operating range and high laser damage threshold.
Alpha Optics’ UV grade fused silica parallel windows feature low distortion, low scatter, and excellent parallelism for laser and non-laser applications.
